Keith’s pupils narrowed into slits, yellow bled into the whites of his eyes, and Lance caught sight of sharp fangs when Keith bared his teeth. “Oh, Lance. Dear fragile Lance,” Keith growled and stabbed Lance’s thigh, bringing him crashing to the ground with a yell of agony, “What made you think you were cut out to be a paladin? You aren’t smart like Pidge and Hunk, or a leader like Shiro, and can’t win against me in a fight. You can’t do anything right! You’re useless.”
