Summary
It’s the year 20XX, and the world has infinitely changed from the way it used to be. In Japan, one city survives in the middle of a desert, a city where creativity and color and art and love are all banned. A group of renegades, who call themselves the Killjoys, fight against this oppression, carrying on the battles started by their predecessors. A boy flees into the desert upon the death of his mother, mourning the loss and unsure what he’s looking for.He becomes a key piece of this fight.
