Summary
Hartley does not like being around people who are drunk. He's made that very clear, it reminds him of his abusive ex and makes him intensely uncomfortable. So when Laurel shows up at his apartment at far too early in the morning, smelling clearly of alcohol, he is very tempted to just shut the door in her face.Instead he opens the door a little wider and lets her inside. Gives her water and then coffee and, as Laurel sobers up a little, the two of them talk about life and death and Tommy Merlyn... and maybe a little about addiction too.
