The Trigger

This is an AU where Winry actually shot Scar because Ed was unable to intervene. It basically deals with the ramifications this has on all the characters- including May Chang and Scar's Master- but it also focuses a lot on the fact Winry did something that went against her very identity and her attempts to understand this man now that she had made it so she's unable to talk to him. She also discusses the issues with Riza and Lan Fan and clashes with Ed and Al over various things.

It will be multi-chapter and the depiction of Scar's death is somewhat violent and very emotionally charged. It might take a while for me to write.

I really like Scar as a character, but I saw a fic I felt handled this idea improperly, which is why I felt motivated to write it. I'm going to attempt to be as respectful of his character as I can and give his people a voice in later chapters.
