Summary
He sauntered towards Kol to grab him by the neck and—hopefully—kick him out of his house when the doorbell rang loudly, startling him. In a blink, Kol was already out of the couch and sprinting towards it, hand hovering over the doorknob, looking back at Klaus with mischief in his eyes.
“Don’t you dare, Kol!’’ Klaus pointed a finger at him, baring his teeth. He had an inkling of who was behind the door. The least he wanted was his brother embarrassing him with her; his suffering was enough already.
Being neighbors and friends—although Caroline would add, reluctantly—Klaus understands Caroline, probably better than she thinks. They often flock to each other and support each other through thick and thin, more so when Kol becomes an annoying presence in both their lives.
