Summary
This takes place right after then end of Pariah, the episode where Alicia is framed for trying to kill Lana and Jason, and we found out it really was some sand boy who killed Alicia. Clark has returned to the loft after going to the graveyard.

To me the story just called for this type of darkness. Very few characters have as much guilt as superheroes. When they can’t save someone, or when they have dual identities and they have to lie to protect it.
