Dogs and Kings

Nothing grows in Harmstead. Aside from patches of weeds sprouting between buildings, it's hard to find nature running its course in a small dirt-ridden town hidden on the east coast. The same goes for its people, and Sol Avilés knows this better than anyone. She wants more than to work for her parents in a place long forgotten and rarely visited. But when a brooding, burly cowboy crashes into her family's shop overnight, she finds herself with two conflicting emotions: a fear of the mysterious man and everything that accompanied him, and an overwhelming desire for a connection outside of her desolate town, regardless of the cost.
