Summary
A verbal connection is often necessary for one's self. The feeling of connecting to another orally is often deemed beneficial and necessary for the wellbeing of oneself. Kim Taehyung had been stripped from that. For nearly 25 years, the people around him kept their words to themselves. They whispered within one another, their words traveling amongst the castle, all of them circling back to the boy. Taehyung kept himself secluded. His door was shut. Curtains drawn. He almost never found himself exiting his room unless he deemed it absolutely necessary. His brother, Namjoon, watched his brother from afar. He heard the whispers. Heard the words that all traveled throughout the castle. Despite his never-ending efforts, he failed at forming any meaningful relationship with his younger sibling. Speech always revealing itself to be a hindrance. That is until Park Jimin was assigned to him. The assignment was simple. Jimin was to lead Taehyung out of his shell and prepare him for marriage. The task would be far from simple, however.
