Summary

There were always these little moments, some indiscernible, some abstruse, some salient and magical, but nevertheless there— that truly exemplified the beauty of life. A perfect score on a test. Rainbows after rain showers. Recognition and respect from your peers. The laughter of your loved ones. There were countless examples, but each are special in their own way.  For him, he began to experience such phenomena only recently— or perhaps, he never really considered it much, until now. He never had a reason to; at least, before the ruby ring had slid onto his finger.  For instance.  The way that the sun shines in his seafoam hair. The ever-lingering scent of saltwater on his clothes. The resplendent boundlessness of his ocean eyes.… His laughs, his smiles, his everything, it was all too overpowering; and he finds himself losing his balance every time, falling, falling, and falling. Though “perfection” was a term he would seldom use, it suited none but him. Love. Yes, this was love.  And oh, what a wonderful feeling it was.
