Summary
Perhaps it was unfair of them to be singing here. It wasn't like this was their own band concert, going as loud in a stadium with thousands of rabid fans. This was just some local coffee shop that'd hosted a competition.Even less fair, they were playing the songs they themselves had written. Kokushibo had practiced each note on their own, personal guitar. He'd moved each finger with such passion and fervor, that his fingertips had become covered in callouses. Then those callouses got callouses. Akaza had played his heart out on those drums of his, until he could barely even lift his arms after their practice sessions. Douma had sung each and every word, his vocal cords sometimes giving out. He'd painstakingly ingrained each lyric into his mind and soul.Of course they'd won. But it wasn't truly their victory. Douma looked at the little trophy, walking back to the microphone. "Ah, we really can't accept this." He removed his sunglasses, then the hood that obscured his hair, leading to immediate shock from the crowd. Not bothered by this, a finger went to point at a table close to the stage. "Could you three please come up here?"
