Summary

What do you think of when you hear someone say, “I’m transgender.”You probably don’t give it much thought, unless you’re questioning yourself or have a friend who happens to be. People often think, we wake up one day and choose to be a different gender than the one we were assigned at birth but that is the furthest from the case. The truth for me was, I started questioning myself when I was around 11 or 10. I just didn't know there was a name for what I was feeling until I was 13, plus many years of denial.
