Summary
Ghostbur dropped to a kneel as he frantically pushed aside rocks, broken pieces of wood, and gravel as he slowly uncovered Friend. He knew what was coming, but he probably wasn’t ready for it. Friend’s face came into view after a few moments. It’s eyes were closed, and face covered with dust and silt, making the short white fur on its face look gray. “Oh- Friend…” Ghostbur broke into a sob as he held Friend’s dangling head in his half-transparent hands, petting it’s fur slowly.;[
