Fly away on my zephyr

In an alternative universe where Xiao and Venti didn't meet again after the latter saved the former and they didn't become close friends, Xiao still often dreamed of the music he heard that night to keep himself sane. The Traveler recruited the archons of Mondstadt and Liyue and they found a way to purge Liyue from the remains of the old gods for good together. Therefore, Xiao is now free from his perpetual burden and obligations, yet not completely of his karmic torment. As the yaksha is lost, not knowing what to do with this newfound freedom and haunted by old memories everywhere, Venti offers a suggestion: what if Xiao traveled back to Mondstadt with him as a tourist to heal his soul and find himself in a fresh place? This is the story of how the Conqueror of Demons ends up roaming on green pastures in bloom caressed by the breeze, walking down the streets of a carefree city of humans, and even becoming a sporadic member of the Adventurers' Guild and helping . But mostly, this is a story about healing and growth and trust and love. About how he now can dance amid the sea of flowers at the sound of the flute of his beloved, like in his old dreams.
