Summary
Rocket was trying his best to go to sleep. He really was. But the ball of anxiety that was tightening in his chest kept him from doing so. He tossed and turned in the huge bed, well huge to him bed anyway, trying to find a position he was comfortable enough in to fall asleep. The overwhelming urge to get up and check on everyone was strong though. His family was home, he told himself. Everyone came back… almost everyone, he corrected himself. Rocket growled out loud. He wasn’t going to let himself spiral down that train of thought now.
Rocket needs to make sure all of his family is home and safe before he can go to sleep.
