Knight, God, Prisoner

George stands outside his front door, everything wet with the early morning rain, and sees a tall figure casting a long shadow in the mist, with its back turned to him. It was only for a second that the creature wasn’t aware of George’s presence and in that time George noticed how the familiar green—actually in his eyes a yellow—blend into the bright head of the figure not taking any true natural shape, geometrically articulate with two golden halo like ribbons slanted slightly on each side of its head intersecting at one point on presumably both sides of his face. There were detached wings too on the creature but it was too late to figure that out.
