Summary
She'd never actually touched the rain, she realized. Owl said it was wet, and cold, and tasted salty. But it didn't taste salty, really, he said, it tasted like home. Omega didn't really understand that, though. How could it taste like home? Home was sterile and bright- wasn't everything? Omega frowned. Owl was confusing when he wanted to be. But he was her ori’vod. It meant special or older sibling, he'd explained. And she was his vod’ika, little sibling. So she'd trust him, she decided as she drifted off to sleep. In which Omega learns what rain feels like.
