Adventuring alongside Lumine and her team introduces Xiao to the foreign oddity of trust, someone at his back every time he may stumble. For the first time in a long while, Xiao isn’t alone. But as he takes a closer look at the Outlander who caught the wind, the ocean queller of Liyue, he finds there’s a newfound emotion blooming in his chest that he won’t be able to push down. It’s not love, obviously, or so he tells himself. Someone like Lumine could never love someone like Xiao.
