An ancient force of primal destruction begins to wear away its seals and the Three Great Angels of the Digital World dispatch an agent to ensure that the crisis is averted. It should be simple enough; backed by the power of her mentor, Cherubimon, Angewomon should have no trouble at all reinforcing the seal before it begins to crack. She soon learns however that things are very different from what she expected. Cut off from the outside world and surrounded by a town which barely tolerates her existence, the angelic Digimon is forced to confront the stirring power on its own terms. Hunted, driven to the limits of her endurance and forced to fight like never before, Angewomon's only chance for survival is to uncover the mystery behind the Living Flame and why it seeks to devour the Digital World. Her allies are few, her enemies closing fast. The only resources she has are those she can gather with her own hands.
