The first time they appeared, he told Philza right away. He was terrified. Terrified of the ghosts that haunted him. The secrets they would whisper into his ear, all knowing and spewing information that was useless to him (why the fuck would he want to know how many ants were in the world?? Why do they just whisper E sometimes and make variations of his name????). Philza helped him control their volume. Limit their speech. Keep them at bay with the blood he spilt from the mobs that infested the forest around their cabin in the woods.
