Insufferable

Lily Evans woke up in her four poster bed, wrapped under a layer of warm blankets. Only, it wasn’t her bed, and there was someone else next to her breathing rhythmically. He had his hand draped over gently like a one armed hug. She blinked hard trying to remember what had happened the night before. It was a blur. There had been a party in the common room, for someone’s birthday. Remus. It was his birthday last night. She had drank too much. The taste of fire whiskey was still hot on her tongue, and a pounding headache was starting to form somewhere behind her eyes. Lily could remember flashes of the party. Remus and Sirius smiling, someone’s lips on hers and a particular drunk deer in the Gryffindor common room. She rolled over towards the body next to her. The arm tighter around her, pulling her to his chest and her breath hitched as she looked up to see James Potter.

Fuck.

She was pretty sure that she had slept with James Potter.
