Summary
I've written about this idea before in another story of mine, but I decided I would go a bit further with it, see what would happen if that instance would go longer. Essentially, Dream can create these spaces between him and another person, either to create more time between the two, or to scare them, it's very difficult to tell when it happens unless he wants you to know. It's like a dream almost :)
