Mixed Set

Jiang Wanyin, born and raised in Meishan Yu, has lived a life of relative envy. As a grandchild of the Meishan Yu sect leader (a sect few wish to cross), and a child of the Yunmeng Jiang sect leader (one of the major five clans), Jiang Wanyin has many privileges offered to him from birth. However, his position also comes with some unique struggles. His parents are separated; his bond with his brother is uncertain at times, and strong at others; his inability to excel, despite all the privileges conferred to him; his mother's feelings towards him and his sister; his dubious identity as either a Yu or Jiang; and his uncertainty over himself are worries he can only share with his sister, Jiang Yanli. As he navigates his teenaged years (and subsequent adult years), Jiang Wanyin finds that the world is both bigger and smaller, more simple and more complicated than he ever realised. In the process, he finds solutions to his problems, both temporal and slightly more permanent, and notices newer issues he has with himself and his surroundings.  OR Jiang Yanli and Jiang Wanyin are raised in Meishan. Subsequently, changes occur in the mdzs canon.
