Summary
He was a long-sought-after child. The pinnacle of the Washuu. Their hopes and dreams of having the Washuu blood become human were coming so close to fruition.
On a cold December night, Ken was born. His mother was Rize, the father an unknown. He was the grandson of Tsuneyoshi Washuu, the Clan's head. When he saw the boy being birthed, and how he had a kakugan on his left eye and none on the right, he was astounded and appalled. The elderly man remembered the old wive's tales of Mabiki, the ancient and almost forgotten practice. He briefly considered committing the act, but instead chose to grab the newborn babe and bring him to his chest.
Their prayers had been answered.
