Tears in Rain

In the early 21st Century, the Montague Corporation has created a being virtually identical to a human - the Replicant. Superior in strength and agility (and at least equal in intelligence) to the engineers who created them, these Replicants were used as slave labor in the hazardous exploration and colonization of other planets. After a Replicant mutiny on an Off-World colony they were declared illegal on earth - under penalty of death. Special police squads, called Blade Runners, had orders to eliminate any trespassing Replicant. This was not called execution, it was called retirement. Counted among these Blade Runners - and considered the best - is Tom Sullivan. His job? Hunt down and retire a group of newly escaped Replicants. While he's expected to track them down, no one (least of all Sullivan) expects him to fall in love with one. But when he meets the charming and wry Sydney Carter all bets are off and everything Sullivan thought he new about life and love will be tested.
