Summary
The race had just ended. It was an unexpected turn of events. Nobody had ever beaten Adam before. You could see in his disheartened eyes the shock and disbelief that came over him. He stormed off, as he was mad at himself. I could longer see him, the rays of light were getting so faint and scarce. So many questions filled my mind. Would he ever race again? Was this too embarrassing for him? What would happen to Adam’s reputation?
