Plans, Part 1

As Garak continues to recover from the effects of the deactivation and removal of his neural implant, and his subsequent overdose on the narcotic triptacederine, and as he tries to catch up on his substantial backlog of commissions, he begins to develop preliminary plans for both Professor O'Brien's arboretum, and for his own role in helping to establish it. Meanwhile, Professor O'Brien is developing her own plans – for the arboretum itself, but also for sharing her love of gardening and plants with Molly and her other students, as well as with Garak. Julian has his own plans – to follow Counselor Telnorri's advice and focus on Garak's needs and preferences while trying to help him, rather than on what Julian believes would be most helpful. That, for Julian, is much harder than he had expected it to be.
