The Snowden Snoops: Seeking Serenity

A frame story within a frame story. Serenity Mabrey has been abducted and rescued, but our Snoops still need to seek and find her even after their efforts have saved her from her kidnapper. The story of her abduction and physical rescue is the kernel of the story, framed by the Snoops'--in particular Serenity's best friend Abbie Dwight's--struggle to seek and rescue Serenity from whatever is still tormenting the rescued child. Around all of this is a second frame, of the young woman Ms. Serenity Mabrey leading the effort to finally put an end to what had been done to her so many years before.The outermost frame--the grown Serenity closing the case--is in bold. The inner frame--of Abbie and friends' struggle to save Serenity from herself--is in regular text. The kernel of the story--Serenity's abduction--is in italic. Serenity's secret diary (and Abbie's "writing therapy") is in blockquote. I hope you enjoy this old story that explains so much of who Serenity Mabrey has become.
