The Season of the Wolves

The Honorable Eddard Stark was once in love but had lost his chance due to the war that his foolish sister started and he couldn't marry Ashara Dayne . He drank his sorrows away with a maidservant on his side and was shocked when he woke up the next morning to find her beside him on his bed . He only returned a year later from the rebellion to find his younger brother Benjen helping raise his bastard son and his screeching newlywed wife .

Alarik Snow was never loved . His mother died in childbirth while his Trueborn brother abused him with his Tully mother and her Southern staff while his father even refused to look at him and he didn't have a single friend .

What grew in him was not only sorrow .... but also hate and he hid it all under a cold emotionless facade to not show weakness . He lasted until he was 11 and he ran away to make his own path in life but that is when an asteroid crashed near his location to reveal a metallic ball containing a gauntlet that chose him and stuck to his left wrist when a god appeared to him to tell him that he's been chosen as a SHIFTER , someone who can turn into outworlder beings at will through the gauntlet .

This is his story and how he changed lives and fates .
