The Worldless Woods

Janus seeks an escape after being locked away by his parents his entire life, rushing through the dark and magical forest that separates his town from the rest of the world, hoping they won't find him. Tales of the fae and other terrifying creatures in the forest make him on guard, and he expects either death or an escape. What he doesn't expect is to encounter a faerie, who is not at all what he imagined one to be, and who is in many senses of the word, just as stuck as he is.When Patton learns of Janus' escape, he rushes after him, fearing the worst has happened. What Patton finds in the forest however, is both startlingly similar, and exceptionally different to what Janus found there.Meanwhile, there are whispers among the townspeople, and new attempts at scientific discoveries, that seem to bring increased attention upon the otherwise solitary forest.
