Cats in the Cradle

“I – I don’t understand,” Cas says. Emma’s let him go now, but he doesn’t move. “Dean has a daughter?”

“Did he tell you I was his?” she demands, instead of answering him. “Is that why you abandoned me? Did he make you?” “Abandoned you?” Castiel repeats. “Did… did I used to know you? Once upon a time?”Castiel is shocked when he encounters a strange, half-feral girl in purgatory - a girl who's apparently Dean's daughter. Even more confusing is, she knows exactly who he is and seems to think that he's abandoned her - despite him having no memory of her. Months later, Cas comes back from the Empty and, devastated by Dean's death, decides to resurrect Emma and bring her to the cabin where he once planned to raise Jack. But Emma's been through a lot of trauma, and there's a dark side to her - has Cas taken on more than he can handle?
