Summary
Luz was being lifted up by the rope around her abdomen and she started to panic as this meant it would be awhile before she could see her mom again. It wasn't right to leave her mom with how her confessions came across and the lie that had been promised to calm her hysterical hurting mother. The cube left her grip and the rope was pulled up even faster, only for her to hear it strain and snap before falling onto the pool below with a thud.Eda could only stare where the portal once stood, a pile of broken materials and the end of a snapped rope in her hand.
