Summary
The father and daughter stared at each other for a good while. Waiting to see who would back down first and admit defeat to the other. Out of all his children, his youngest was the one who was most alike to Isabel. They have the same fire in their eyes that complimented their fierce regal personalities. Though his wife had mellowed out since their rebirth, that fire in her eyes never went away.
And he could see the same in Catalina’s.
Knowing what was to come and why exactly his daughter actively came to him instead of avoiding him as usual, he admitted defeat in their staring contest.
“I’m assuming that you want to talk since you came to me instead of avoiding me,” he said.
“Your assumption is correct. Though it’s more of a confrontation instead of a simple talk,” Catalina confirmed.
Catalina confronts Fernando about the past and things were quick to escalate from there.
