When a couple slam into the wall next to him and immediately proceed to eat each other’s faces off, Eiji wishes for the thousandth time that his sister hadn’t pressured him into going to this party. He knows that Keiko only means well, but he always regrets it when he agrees to going outside of his comfort zone like this. It’s not like he needs parties to have fun. Or a social life, at all. He’s perfectly fine with the way things are – no need to force himself to mingle with the other students at Columbia.Eiji stumbles away from the offending couple, who are now threatening to roll on top of him. He almost trips over an abandoned beer bottle, but something – someone – catches him by the arm.He looks back over his shoulder and almost staggers forwards again; even in the dim light it’s obvious his savior is the most beautiful person he’s ever laid eyes on.
