“Take a look.”As the smoke clears up it reveals a tall male, probably around his age, wearing a black cat mask. His hair, past his shoulders, is half pulled up and is held by a bright red ribbon. His ears are covered with several earrings, and when Lan Zhan glances at his hands, he spots multiple rings.“He’s the top of the lowest class at our Alice Academy -- a genius -- and is probably the smartest in the class. His name is Wuxian and his Alice is fire.”Lan Zhan can only stare as Wuxian turns towards them.A black cat…?He has a memory of when he and his brother were walking back from school when they encountered a stray black cat on the sidewalk. Lan Zhan had stepped back, weary of it being dangerous, but his brother had only laughed and grabbed his hand, saying “Don’t you know that black cats are good luck A-Zhan?”The boy currently standing above them seemed the opposite of good luck.
