Fates Strings and Earrings

Tommy stumbled forward, clutching the dagger in his hand like a lifeline. The hilt was too big for his hand, it was not built to be used by a child. But it would be used all the same. The blonde offered Techno a small smile. "Hey Techie," he murmured, and despite the raging sounds around him, he could still hear the familiar earnestness in his younger brother's voice. A ruse. "You won't win this, you know." Techno said, narrowing his eyes at the blonde. Tommy just smiled at him, looking so much like the child he had grown up with. From the stands, he spotted his eldest brother Phil, a crow resting on his shoulder, an arm wrapped around Wilbur. Wil had tears trailing down his face and he fixed Techno with a hate filled glare that made his heart ache in his chest. Phil just looked disappointed.
