The Gauntlet

In the entirety of the Gauntlet’s existence, only two people had ever successfully gone more than two years with capture. The first was an aggressive and violent girl who only went by the name of Oxxy, who had won the Gauntlet twice, before finally being claimed in her third run. The second was Dream Xdi-Wastaken.For the past four years, Dream had come out on top of every Gauntlet, earning himself an impressive reputation around the city. Every year, alphas searched high and low for the evasive omega, but every time, he stayed just out of reach. On the few occasions where he was found, he attacked viciously, fending off multiple alphas at once before fleeing into the forest and vanishing once again. It was the most intriguing spectacle of the year, seeing who would come out victorious.Dream hated it.
