This was written for a Lyric Wheel challenge. The lyrics I was given are included in the body. The theme for the Lyric Wheel was "home," so participants were supposed to set their stories in their home towns. I had just completed Get Well Soon, which was also set in Las Vegas, and really hadn't intended to focus so much on that city as to set another story there, but that was the theme of the challenge, so there you are.
Keerawa has written a tremendous remix of this story, told from a VERY different point of view.
This isn't really part of a series, it's just that I've written four stories all set right after Richie's death, so I might as well call it a series.
