Just Being Here is Enough

Casita has been rebuilt, and the Miracle has reignited to bless the Madrigals once more. This doesn’t fix all of the problems. Behind the curtain, they’re still trying to rebuild themselves and navigate their new roles. Pepa is learning to embrace her gift again, many years after she cast a hurricane over her own wedding. Isabela is recovering from the expectations set upon her and learning to chase her dreams. Tío Bruno is desperately reaching for a connection with the rest of his family—especially his nephew, who had the most skewed perception of him. Mirabel’s finally accepting herself, all of herself (sometimes, it’s hard). Dolores is recovering from the unspeakable—which had happened a year prior, but she’d never had the courage to talk about, so she distracted herself with everyone else’s business. Camilo may be a total klutz with physically rebuilding Casita, but he’s good at repairing his familia. Sometimes, though, he needs help too.
