You Light Me Up

Power outages within Los Angeles aren’t necessarily common, nothing like the city-wide blackout of the summer, but they weren’t uncommon either. It wasn’t unusual for a transformer to blow or a line to go down, casting a neighborhood or two in complete darkness. Eddie’s dealt with it plenty of times before, as shown by the many flashlights and candles that were stuck in a box under the kitchen sink. It’s just never been so cold when the power went out and Eddie can only describe his current mood as grumpy, though if anyone had dared to say that, Eddie would fight it.
