Summary
What if a Hyrule that had relative peace for ten thousand years was more interconnected and developed than the medieval-style segregated land shown in the cutscenes of the past? What if the people of Hyrule came together to rebuild and survive the ongoing Calamity allowing for more present development? What if the world that Link wakes up to is still completely devastated by an apocalypse a hundred years ago and yet, people kept living even under constant threat? Link has his quest to complete, but on the way, he meets a friendly wolf and a whole bunch of people who have been trying to live and trying to end the Calamity on their terms. After all, if you live in a land seemingly abandoned by the Goddess, who is to say that her fated Hero will ever arrive to end the apocalypse?
