Tommy sees the world differently after the apocalypse.

Before, it was just a kid full of chaotic innocence running around with his father, wishing on dandelions and praying to the sky for more days in summer break.

During, it was a too-young teen with a barely beating heart trying everything to keep their best friend alive, dodging mother nature's best attempts at killing them and spending time in beaten-up libraries figuring out how to survive.

Now, Tommy is just, tired. Her days are filled with Tubbo's consistent reminders to actually move or her prosthetics will be of no use and Ranboo's jokes and oddly tropical-themed outlook of anything.

It's just what she needed.

---Zombie apocalypse au, mentions of violence, trauma, etc., as well as mentions of scars and missing limbs. Medication is also a main theme in this particular fic. There's also mentions of wounds, being a scientific experiment, and body horror.
