Steve would’ve never thought he’d end up as a nanny, let alone the nanny for Tony Stark’s kid. But here he was, standing amidst other nannies for Manhattan’s elite, waiting to pick Peter up from school.

The nanny gig was only supposed to last a few weeks, but of course, he had to get attached to the kid—and his father. Those first few weeks stretched into months, and Steve eventually became his nanny full-time. He still painted and did commissions on the side, and he knew he could count on Peter to be his best critic. He was given a room, spacious and bright enough to be able to set up his easel by the windows to paint or sketch, and he never thought this is where he’d end up.
