Dev’s charming face was illuminated by the light beaming from his tablet, but Charlie didn’t have the energy to push himself up and take a gander at what exactly he was doing on it. Upon further observation, he could see that there was a slight hint of frustration in his fiancé’s tired expression. But that all disappeared and morphed into shock when Dev heard Charlie turning over and shot his gaze to the man who had just been sleeping beside him. Despite Charlie’s gentle smile, Dev still appeared to be panicked. “Shit, love, did I wake you?” asked Dev hurriedly. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to–”“Dev,” Charlie interrupted with a quiet laugh. “It’s fine. I woke up a few minutes ago before you were shuffling around. Why are you still up?”Dev’s eyebrows knit together, seemingly sheepish all of the sudden. “I couldn’t sleep.”
