Summary

He looked around. At the beautiful field full of potentially dangerous flowers, and at his two friends that he trusted with the world but not with their own safety. Yennefer and Geralt looked back at him, their expressions flat in the way that meant that yes, they had simply accepted that terrible people did terrible things, and if it happened to them, it must have been unavoidable.
“Well, that’s stupid,” Jaskier informed them. “You should have a plan.”
