Three days later, Wilson is cornering him and asking if he wants in on the betting.
"Bets on what, Wilson?" he asks, getting a smile in return.
"When Eddie and Buck will finally become more than friends," she says, when he looks at her confused.
"You mean they aren't already together?"
"Nope!"
"Huh, $150 on the next big near-death event. Say… five months from now." Wilson nods and scribbles down his bet, handing her the cash.
