Summary
I imagine late night thoughts would be like this. You're in uni, pursuing something that you wanted to do, but you don't really want to anymore. You're stuck there, in between the dream you once dreamt, the college fees, student loans, and the unfinished degree, taunting you. All you can do is study with all your might, but even that, it takes so much effort, and you're dying a little bit more everyday. You see other people, going out with their friends, partying, enjoying their life as college students, but you're broke, you've got no money, not even for proper housing. Small and packed flats, filled with dreams, once fragrant, but now shriveled and dry. You've got a table, your laptop, a dim light, the never ending pile of works and assignments, and you've got a lo-fi track to help you stay awake. There's no fun in it, it's really kind of sad, but you know that if you give up, you've got nowhere to go. And somehow, there's beauty in it. Unrelentlessly struggling, fighting againts the world, ready to fling whatever it has to you. There's beauty is hard work, but most importantly, there's beauty in you. You're the one going through all this, and you're the one not giving up. So let me ask you this: really, where's the beauty in? The job that gets done, or the person struggling with every atom of themselves to fight and win?
