And when you're gone, will they love you the same?

Diluc asks Kaeya about his past at the worst possible time.

“Will you tell me about them?” he asks.Kaeya’s eyebrows draw downwards. “Why?”“Because you never tell me.”“Now hardly seems like the time,” Kaeya says.“I want to think about something else,” he explains.“It’s… difficult to talk about.”He’s asked this before, but Kaeya has never let it slip—not a name, not a word. He has never spoken about the rest of his family, about his life before the Ragnvindrs; even when Diluc prodded and pried for the smallest scrap of information—a city name, his favorite swear, the color of his bedsheets back home—Kaeya was resolute in his secrecy. It would be a horrible time for this. But it’s constantly on his tongue, now more than ever. Would it really be so bad, for him to know?
