Sana could hear the smile in Mina’s voice, but could barely pay attention to it, her breath hitching at the simple words. “Cute, huh? You think I’m cute?” Sana swung lightly out at Mina’s leg, clipping her pants with the tip of her boot.  Mina looked at her like it was a ridiculous question.  “Of course I think you’re cute. I think you’re beautiful.”  Sana swallowed hard. Shit. Mina didn’t say it like a compliment, just like an accepted fact that everyone should know, including Sana. How was it that she could break into banks and make off with millions of dollars in cash, conduct a shootout in the passenger seat with a reckless Momo driving for her, but she couldn’t work up the nerve to ask Mina out?   Sana is a criminal that can't seem to stop getting into scrapes. Mina runs a refuge for criminals and is a little infatuated with her.
