Summary
Only people who are capable of loving strongly can also suffer great sorrow, but this same necessity of loving serves to counteract their grief and heals them. He stops believing in God. He tells Him he'll believe again once Ash comes back. He can’t shake the Catholic indoctrination though, so the suffering still feels religious. He doesn’t want a farm. He doesn’t want three kids. He can’t go through loss again. Even the possibility of the possibility feels too heavy to contemplate, to ever live with again. How does Fezco navigate being a father for the second time? (Because let's be real, Ashtray was his brother but he was also his child.)
