Huckleberries and Hubris

The next time Quinn sees Eliot Spencer, he’s not sure if he’s hallucinating or the luckiest son of a bitch who’s ever lived.He’s just fought off eight pissed-off Russian mobsters, after all. He was able to walk away, but he’d be hard pressed to call the fight a win. He’s bleeding from over a dozen lacerations, some of them deep enough that he can see bone, and he knows he has at least two cracked ribs and one hell of a concussion. He stumbled down a mostly deserted city block, trying to think through the blood loss long enough to come up with a plan, when he literally walked around a corner into the man.Intellectually, Quinn knew he should be more concerned about collapsing into the arms of a possible hallucination, but even an imaginary Eliot Spencer is an improvement over his current situation.
